Restoration Christian Community Church (RC3) is a ministry dedicated to serving God and bringing renewal to the community through the word of God. Our mission is to effectively lead men, women and children to Christ, building a people that reverence Jehovah God, while developing in them a love and passion for serving and restoring the people, and the community in which they live. Since our founding on August 4, 2004 we have been dedicated to making a transformational impact on people’s lives. We received our identification number to transact business under the above name of RC3 Church, filed on August 31, 2004 as a 501(c)(3)nonprofit Ecclesiastical Corporation.

The inspiring vision of RC3 attracts an increasing number of people to its Sunday Morning Worship, Tuesday Night Bible Study, and various other activities throughout the week. The church’s growth from its initial membership of 7 members to its current membership of 416 is evidence that our mission draws others to join in and become faithful supporters of advancing it. The home residence of people within the congregation span beyond the borders of the Port Huron community to Macomb County, Michigan to the west and Ontario, Canada to the east.

As the RC3 ministry’s membership has grown our desire to translate our internal faith into external realities within the community has grown also. We firmly believe in the words “faith without works is dead” found in the bible verse James 2:26. Adversely, faith with works is alive. So as ones faith grows their good works in the community also grows.

Our ministry has prided itself on helping members progress through these levels of faith and ministry development. As God is leading Pastor Carl Miller to expand and enhance spiritual development and strengthen and increase community development activities, we are taking the steps to secure the necessary facilities and property to accommodate this vision. We understand the importance of aligning our property asset development with our ministry development plan. RC3’s growth has been and will continue to be directly linked to its ability to expand its commitment to the two main objectives outlined in its mission; spiritual and community development.

Spiritual Development

The Restoration Christian Community Church’s core focus is spiritual development. Spiritual development can be defined as the act of developing or realizing the full potential of faith within each member and each member working together to share the fruit of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control) with the rest of society. As stated in the mission RC3 strives to effectively lead men, women and children to Christ and building a people that reverence Jehovah God. This objective is accomplished by helping members to progress along the stages of faith.

The primary methods for carryout this objective is Sunday School, Sunday Worship Service and Bible Study. Because people are at various levels on the stages of faith it is important to have the facilities available to hold services and classes simultaneously. For example, we would like to have the ability to hold dual services for adults and youth to ensure each membership group receives adequate attention to help them advance and grow their faith. Also, for Sunday School we would like to be able to various class such as New Members, Adults, Young Adults, Teens and Pre-teens.

We also provide supplemental ministries throughout the week to supplement the main methods of faith development listed above. These include the Timothy Training Leadership Development Program, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Liturgical Dance, Praise Team, and a number of others. Ensuring adequate space is available for these ministries is critical providing and atmosphere conducive to growth and development without interfering with others meeting at the same time.

Community Development

There is a direct correlation between spiritual growth and ministry development. As individuals mature in faith, their public ministry or works will also further develop. Under the visionary leadership of Pastor Carl Miller the RC3 Church has done an excellent job of helping people progression in public ministry by consistently reiterating and reinforcing the mission to develop in people a love and passion for serving and restoring the people, and the community in which they live.

In 2007, through the churches nonprofit community development corporation RC3 New Vision CDC, the Christian Community Collaboration (C3) Initiative was launched to quicken the collaborative spirit of Christian ministries, government, businesses, and nonprofit organizations in order to address the challenges and issues facing the community. Through the C3 Initiative an environmental assessment was complete it has guided the development and expansion of the Churches efforts to serve the community. Ministries such as Jail Ministry, Mission Ministry, Youth Before and After School Programming, Community Outreach Ministry and others obtained a greater understanding of the needs of the community and as a result have been able enhance and expand outreach efforts.
